Ongoing Classes through FACT's Community Based Programs

Adelante's Juntos los Jueves Program

Every Thursday at Sweeney Elementary School FACT partners with the Santa Fe Public School's Adelante program for homeless families to provide an hour long art making class from 6 to 7pm.

FACT with Citizen Schools

FACT provides a weekly apprenticeship for students enrolled in the Citizen Schools program at DeVargas Elementary School. In this apprenticeship, students spend 10 weeks developing 21st-century skills as an artist and develop a professional artist's portfolio. The apprenticeship culminates in a student-curated exhibition at Citizen's School's WOW event at which all students from many different apprenticeships share the skills they learn with the community and present their work.

FACT with Outside In at the Youth Development Program

FACT brings weekly visual-arts classes to young adults ages 13 to 21 at the Santa Fe County Youth Development Program (Detention Center). Our partner, Outside In, is a local nonprofit offering music and dance education to incarcerated youth.
