Genoveva Chavez Community Center

Juntos los Jueves with Adelante
FACT provides art classes to homeless youth in collaboration with the Santa Fe Public School's Adelante program for homeless families, Juntos los Jueves, on Thursday evenings at Sweeney Elementary School throughout the school year and at the BF Young Building during the summer.
Outside In and the Detention Center
FACT brings weekly visual-arts classes to young adults ages 13 to 21 at the Santa Fe County Youth Development Program (Detention Center). Our partner, Outside In, is a local nonprofit offering music and dance education to incarcerated youth.
Outside In's Youth with Promise
Also in conjunction with Outside In, FACT provides weekly art classes for teens at the Boys and Girls Club on Alto St. from 5:30-6:30pm on Monday evenings.
Youth Mural Program
FACT offers mural-making opportunities throughout the year that connect young people to their community. With support from an organization or business, FACT organizes classes and creates a site-specific mural as a public art piece. FACT mural sites include A Salon, The Lensic Theater and a 950-foot-long community mural that surrounds the Jacob Martinez neighborhood on Santa Fe's Southside.
