How You Can Help

Join our list of crucial supporters by making a donation, joining our mailing list, giving us materials, volunteering your time, and attending our events.

Make a Donation

Individual contributions give us the most flexibility and stability of any funding source. Where specific program expenses are often met by restricted private and government grants, we rely on unrestricted support for general operations and immediate responses to community needs.

Make an On-line Donation through our secure server.

Or make a secure donation through PayPal:

Your tax-deductible gift (we're registered as a 501(c)(3) organization) ensures that FACT can continue to serve northern New Mexico youth. Send a check to our mailing address at P.O. Box 22363, Santa Fe, NM 87502

Join Our Mailing List

Send us your name, mailing address, phone number, and e-mail address. We'll send you our newsletter and keep you posted on upcoming events. Email Us

Give Us Stuff

In-kind donations keep our programs going. If you have high-quality art supplies you no longer use, let us know -- you'd be surprised by what we can do with used supplies, unusual materials, and found objects. You can also help with framing, catering, printing, or event hosting, or provide exhibit space.

Attend Events

Support young artists by attending one of FACT's many exhibits (check our calendar for details). You also can get involved with our biannual fund raisers. In Spring we celebrate our birthday at SantaCafé with a silent auction and honoring of a local artist.

Volunteer Your Time

Studio volunteers help FACT instructors successfully manage classes on a semester or 12-week basis. No special skills are required beyond energy and eagerness to work with children through visual art. To find out more about volunteering with our young artists, please fill out the Volunteer Questionnaire and send it to Brandon Soder, Program Coordinator, via fax (505) 992-2772 or mail to P.O. Box 22363, Santa Fe, NM 87502

Special events and project volunteers help out on a one-time basis. For more information about these opportunities, contact (505) 992-2787 or Email Us

Results

In 1990 we began working with roughly 100 children. By 2000 our programs served nearly 500 students. In 2004 that number jumped to more than 1,500, with 80% of our programs remaining free to participants.

In the same period that our enrollment increased 200%, our revenue rose less than 15%. We're proud to extend access to our visual-arts classes while keeping costs to a minimum.

We do this by putting our money where it's most effective: More than 80% of our expenses go directly to our programs. We also make the most of collaborating with local businesses and other nonprofit organizations.
